Process for Change/ Update Address and Other Details

• The application form is available for the first applicant. Be sure to attach proof of an address change or any other details.
• If applicants do not have evidence of a change in address, he is able to certify the form to the following individuals
  • Gazetted Officer - Group A
  • Village Panchayat Head, or Mukhiya
  • Gazetted Officer - Group B
  • MP/ MLA/ MLC/ Muncipal Councilor
  • Tehsildar
  • Head of Recognized Education Institution
  • Superintendent/ Warden/ Matron/ Head Institution
  • Recognized shelter houses/Orphanages
  • Officer EPFO

UIDAI lets those who have Aadhaar cardsto change their address without the need for documentation. Aadhaar cardholders were allowed to modify their address, but only if they had not presented identification proof.

New Delhi: The Unique Identification Authority of India has temporarily stopped an important feature that allows you to modify the address of your Aadhaar card's address without document of your address.

UIDAI allows cardholders with Aadhaar cards to change their address and address without any documents. Aadhaar card holders are able to update their address, provided they accept the authenticity to the identity verifier. An address verifier could be a family member, friend or landlord who permits the Aadhaar card user to make use of their address as proof.

UIDAI has stopped using this feature. UIDAI addressed an Aadhaar Card card holder via Twitter by announcing that the capability to change the address on the Aadhaar Card using an Address Validation Form has been removed. UIDAI has requested to the Aadhaar Issuers to inform users that they are able to change their address using a authentic PoA document.

Water Bill (not more than 3 months)

Kissan Passbook

Passport of Spouse

Passport of parents (in for minors)

Central/ State Govt. Initiated an allotment to accommodate. (Not over 3 years)
